ACTON will launch glasses that stream to Facebook, Youtube at CES 2018

Let's be honest: We all document our lives on Facebook and Instagram. But have you ever wanted to do that secretly?

If so, these very strange-looking sunglasses could be for you. Acton, a company which primarily sells electric skateboards, has launched ACE Eyewear, a pair of sunglasses that doubles as a covert camera. (The sunglasses were first discovered by The Verge.)

ACE Eyewear sunglasses feature a 120-degree wide-angle lens and about 1.5 hours of battery life of continuous recording, according to the company.

With just the click of a button on the side of the frames, the device can take 8-megapixel photos (the same quality as the camera of the iPhone 5s) and up to 40 minutes of HD video. ACE's accompanying app will allow you to organize and edit the photos.

The app will also help you livestream to Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube if you connect the glasses to Wi-Fi. This could be a huge help for anyone that wants to stream footage alone without having to worry about holding a camera in a specific direction.

The ACE Eyewear sunglasses normally costs $199, but you can get them for $99 if you pre-order today. Units will ship by summer 2018, and will be on display at CES 2018, coming up Jan. 9-12.
